This year's theme is "Presidential Election!" Kids under 6 who have difficulties with this theme may draw anything they'd like. This competition will begin at 11am and end sharply at 12pm right before Anjali!

•  Vocalist Rini Mukherjee


Rini was born and brought up in Calcutta with the privilege to be trained on Indian Classical Dance under Guruji, Smt Thankamani Kutty of Kalamandalam. She has been trained on Indian Classical Music by Smt. Indrani (disciple of Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty) and on Rabindrasangeet by Shri Kushal Banerjee (disciple of Sraboni Sen).

•  Duo - Sharmistha & Subrata Kolay


Sharmistha Kolay started her training at a very early age from her mother and later on under the tutelage of Smt. Kanta Sarkar in Durgapur. She also received training from Pandit Suman Ghosh, the acclaimed exponent of the Mewati Gharana of Hindustani Classical Music and a torch-bearing disciple of Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj Ji. Her repertoire includes a wide range from Hindusthani classical, to old, modern and contemporary songs in Bengali and Hindi. She has performed at several events both in India and in the US.

Subrata Kolay trained in Hawaiian Steel guitar under the tutelage of Shree Ranjan Sen and Shree Batuk Nandi. He plays a variety of music including Bengali and Hindi tunes , old and contemporary and also a variety of western instrumentals. He has won several awards at college festivals in India and has performed at various events both in India and the US.
